Credentialing

Medical Staff Services is responsible for credentialing members of the Medical Staff and Allied Health Staff. The credentialing process includes a series of activities designed to collect relevant data that will serve as the basis for decisions regarding appointments and reappointments to the Medical or Allied Health staffs, as well as delineation of clinical privileges for individual members of the Medical or Allied Health staffs. Required information includes data on qualifications such as licensure and training or experience, and data on actual performance that is collected and assessed initially and in an ongoing process.
